In accordance with NRS 341.100 and 341.105 the building official for the State Public Works Division oversees the code compliance and enforcement services on State owned land.
Services
include issuing building permits, performing plan review and inspections
services for buildings and structures on property of the State or held in trust
for any division of State Government for compliance with the codes adopted
pursuant to NAC 341.045. Permit fee schedule can be found at NAC 341.171.
A building permit from State Public Works Division is required for all projects involving State owned facilities intending to construct, enlarge, alter, repair, move, demolish, or change the occupancy of a building or structure, or to erect, install, enlarge, alter, repair, remove, convert or replace any electrical, gas, mechanical or plumbing system.
