Notice to Contractors
NOTICE: The State Public Works Board approved revisions to the Division's Contractor Qualification process effective November 1, 2023.
Anyone submitting bids on State of Nevada Public Works projects must first be qualified as a bidder. Each Bidder shall be properly licensed by the Nevada State Contractors Board prior to the bid opening. The Owner will not award a contract to any Bidder who, at the time of the bid, is not licensed under the provisions of Nevada Revised Statutes Chapter 624, or if the contract would exceed the limit of his or her license.
Applications to become a qualified bidder are available at the links below. Bidders should submit an application to initiate the qualification process as soon as possible. Any inquiries must be submitted in writing to the Carson City office. Please see the Instructions to Bidders document for additional
information and criteria pertaining to pre-qualification of bidders. Please email application to Kathi Pasciak @ kpasciak@admin.nv.gov if there are difficulties attaching documentation.
Please note that the bonding capacity letter with power-of-attorney is required for all applications over $100,000.
